Special Fall 2024 Experiences

Soup, Sourdough, & Sound Bath:

In this immersive gathering, we’ll come together in circle to share a meal, connecting over homemade vegan soup and sourdough bread. After sharing a meal together, we’ll transition to the cozy living room for a sharing circle and in sound and relaxation. Finally, we’ll close the evening with a tea and cookie circle, reflecting on the experience and deepening connections.

Vocal Toning Harmonization Circle:

In a vocal toning harmonization circle, participants use their voices to hum and sustain vowel sounds together. Guided by the rich drone of a Shruti box, you’ll be invited to explore your voice, experiment with harmonies, and create resonant tones as a group. This circle encourages participants to discover the exhilarating, grounding experience of connecting vocally and physically through sound, resonating in harmony with one another.

Cistern Chapel Resonance Chamber Experience:

Join Amelia on a journey to the remote lands of Ramona to a special resonance chamber built especially for sound. Meeting in Rancho Penasquitos, Amelia will drive the group to the trailhead, and guide you along a short nature trail to this mystical site. Once inside the Cistern Chapel, you’ll have a chance to explore this resonance chamber through deep listening, vocal toning, and a resonant sound bath in the unique acoustics of this space. After exiting the Cistern Chapel we’ll spend a few quiet moments together in nature. , there will be time to reflect on the experience before returning to the meeting point.
